Bitcoin investments offer a 29% annual return and are more profitable and safe than lending, as per Saylor. Bernstein Research has rated MicroStrategy as “Outperform,” with a price target reflecting a significant upside from its current valuation.

MicroStrategy has a unique model for bridging the USD capital markets and Bitcoin markets. The company issues convertible notes and equity instruments that expose investors to Bitcoin’s volatility with downside protection.

Michael Saylor’s Vision

Michael Saylor is the founder of MicroStrategy. He has a vision to leverage debt and equity to raise capital at low interest rates for investing heavily in Bitcoins.

It will help the company to recycle capital and invest in an asset that yields significantly higher returns.

Michael Saylor said that the scalability of MicroStrategy’s debt strategy could raise $100 Billion or more to continue acquiring Bitcoin. He believes more companies should hold Bitcoin as a Treasury reserve asset.

However, Saylor added that MicroStrategy‘s unique market position makes it challenging for others to replicate its approach.

Also, he has faith in the capital markets of Bitcoin. The market could grow with equity, convertibles, and fixed income from Bitcoin-supported products.

By 2045, Saylor envisions Bitcoin accounting for 7% of global financial capital. This could lead to one Bitcoin worth $13 Million.

Michael Saylor has said during the interview with Bernstein: “This is the most valuable asset in the world. The endgame is to be the leading Bitcoin bank.”

Challenges For MicroStrategy

MicroStrategy could face some challenges in becoming Bitcoin’s First Trillion-Dollar Bank. The company can experience hurdles due to the unpredictable price swings of Bitcoin. Also, any change in cryptocurrency regulations can increase compliance costs.

Ensuring the security of Bitcoin holdings against theft and cyber-attacks is essential. Then, the sustainability of raising capital through debt and equity to buy Bitcoin needs to be maintained.

However, Saylor remains confident in MicroStrategy’s ability to navigate these challenges. Asked about the risks, Saylor said, “You either believe Bitcoin is something, or you believe it’s nothing.”
