Key Insights:
- Ethereum Foundation transfers $32M raise concerns over price impact.
- Accumulation surges show investor confidence despite market volatility.
- ETH struggles below $2,500 with weak bullish momentum signals.
Ethereum price has seen recent fluctuations, currently trading just below $2,500 after a slight market correction within 24 hours. The cryptocurrency gained 2% over the past week, though bullish momentum appears to be fading. Meanwhile, significant ETH transfers have been observed, with millions moved into multisig wallets. Bitcoin continues to hold steady, hovering around the $106,000 mark amid broader market uncertainty.
Ethereum Foundation Moves $32M in ETH
The Ethereum Foundation has quietly initiated a daily transfer of 1,000 ETH to a multisig wallet over the past weeks.
According to recent blockchain data, the Foundation has sent 13,000 ETH, valued at roughly $32 million, to the address starting with 0xc061. Each daily transaction involves 1,000 ETH, worth about $2.46 million at current market rates.
These consistent transfers began on June 10, 2025, and have continued through July 1, 2025. The destination wallet is identified as a Gnosis Safe Proxy, typically used for multisignature security. This activity has sparked interest within the crypto community, with speculation around the purpose of these sizable movements.

Observers also noted a single unrelated transaction to Vitalik Buterin’s address during this period, involving a minimal amount of ETH. This transaction appears unrelated to the daily 1,000 ETH movements and might have been a test or symbolic gesture.
Ethereum Accumulation Surges Despite Price Volatility
Recent statistics by CryptoQuant point to a rise in the Ethereum inflow to accumulator addresses at a level far exceeding the rest of the statistics. In recent weeks, there has been a trend in aggressive accumulation by permanent holders, which is a marked contrast of the prior one year.
The sharp increase, which is observed particularly in June 2025, suggests the increase in confidence of retail investors. That is despite the fact that Ethereum was trading between the range of 1,800 and 3,000 within the same time frame.

According to analysts, this bullish momentum in the addresses that cast in may indicate structural bullish interest in the market by investors.
Ethereum Stalls Near $2,500: Breakout or Breakdown?
The latest Ethereum price movement shows consolidation near the $2,450 level following recent resistance at $2,500. Ethereum (ETH) has been trading sideways on the 4-hour chart, struggling to close decisively above the $2,500 resistance. At the time of reporting, the ETH price is trading at $2,455, with a slight decrease of 0.6% in the past 24-hours.
There are solid support levels at around the 2,300 mark, where any stronger pullbacks through yesterday and the previous days have not been possible. The larger trading range spans $2,300 and $2,500, whereas the price currently experiences considerable resistance at the $2,800 and $3,000 levels.
Technical indicators reflect indecision. The MACD line is slightly lower at -1.49 compared to the signal line, meaning that the bullish momentum is minor. The histogram bars are not steep and indicate weak buying power at the present price.
The Awesome Oscillator stands at the positive area of 31.44 on the scale, representing that the indicator has a slight bullish inclination, but there is no sharp effect. The green bars have come, and the breakout signal is not so clear, though.

If bulls manage to push the price above the $2,500 resistance zone, Ethereum could target $2,800 in the short term. A stronger rally might push prices toward $3,000, provided volume supports the move.
However, if ETH fails to hold above $2,300, downside targets include $2,200 as an initial level, followed by $2,000 as a key psychological support.
