The Dogecoin Foundation, through its commercial arm, House of Doge, has partnered with CleanCore Solutions to unveil a $175 million Dogecoin Treasury.
This initiative marks its first official foundation-backed treasury, signalling a significant step in Dogecoin’s evolving ecosystem.
Dogecoin News: Dogecoin Treasury Launched With CleanCore
The Dogecoin Foundation’s business branch, called House of Doge, announced a deal with CleanCore Solutions (NYSEAM: ZONE) to set up an official Dogecoin Treasury.
The announcement was released on September 2, 2025. Under the agreement, CleanCore raised funds through a private placement.
According to the update, the company offered 175,000,420 pre-funded warrants at $1.00 each.

The gross proceeds from this sale were expected to reach about $175 million before costs and fees.
CleanCore stated that the money would be used to buy Dogecoin and add it to the firm’s treasury. Dogecoin would then serve as the company’s main reserve asset.
Notably, more than 80 investors joined the placement. They included well-known names in both traditional finance and the crypto industry.
Some of the investors were Pantera, GSR, FalconX, MOZAYYX, and Borderless.
House of Doge also partnered with 21Shares, a major crypto exchange-traded product provider with more than $12 billion in assets under management, to support the treasury.
The deal also brought changes at the leadership level as Alex Spiro became Chairman of the Board of CleanCore.
Timothy Stebbing, a Dogecoin Foundation Director, also joined the board.
Marco Margiotta, Chief Executive Officer of House of Doge, was appointed Chief Investment Officer at CleanCore.
The company’s CEO, Clayton Adams, explained that CleanCore planned to use Dogecoin as part of its innovation strategy and long-term financial planning.
Market Reaction Sends CleanCore Stock Lower
It is worth mentioning that the news of the treasury launch had an immediate, but negative impact on CleanCore’s stock price.
On the announcement day, the company’s shares fell heavily in early trading.
Data showed the stock dropped by about 59%, moving from over $7.00 to close near $2.80.

This sharp decline showed that investors were concerned about the company’s new direction.
While the partnership was presented as a move to bring structure and backing to Dogecoin, the market response suggested that shareholders were unsure about the shift.
Some analysts noted that turning a listed company into a treasury vehicle for a single cryptocurrency tagged as a memecoin was unusual, and the steep fall in share value reflected that caution.
Despite the drop, the company maintained that the deal was important for building a reserve system around Dogecoin.
Leadership from both CleanCore and the Dogecoin Foundation said they viewed the new treasury as a way to give DOGE a stronger position in the financial world.
Dogecoin Price Holds Steady Around Support
Despite the recent Dogecoin news, DOGE itself saw some movement after the announcement, though not as dramatic as the share price of CleanCore.
At the time of reporting, Dogecoin price traded at $0.2127. This marked a 1% decline over the last 24 hours, moving in line with a general drop across the wider crypto market at the start of September.
Market data also showed liquidations in Dogecoin trading. In the last 24 hours, $8.11 million in positions were liquidated.
Of this, $6.98 million came from long positions, equal to about 32.9 million Dogecoin tokens. Short positions accounted for $1.13 million.
Analysts watching the charts pointed out that Dogecoin had held the $0.208 support level several times.
This Dogecoin price level was seen as important for its next move. Resistance remained near $0.225, a point that matched the 50-day simple moving average on daily charts.
