Key Insights:

  • SEI crypto is in a buy zone, signaling a potential rally to $0.498.
  • Analyst Michael van de Poppe has set $0.65 as the next SEI target.
  • Chainlink Data Streams now live on Sei, building on an earlier partnership with the U.S.Department of Commerce.

SEI, the native crypto of the Sei layer-1 blockchain, has entered a buy zone that signals a 54% price breakout to $0.498. This move comes amid a broader market rally, which saw Bitcoin (BTC) price reclaim the $114,000 level.

Meanwhile, analyst Michael van de Poppe predicted SEI could hit $0.65. Chainlink Data Streams have gone live on the layer-1 blockchain in a related development.

SEI Crypto in a Buy Zone

SEI is once again testing what analyst Ali Martinez called the “buy zone.” This is the same ascending range that has often preceded major upward cycles in the price history of SEI.

Martinez posted a chart that showed SEI hovering around $0.31–$0.32, often considered a good entry point for buying. He noted that the latest touch could spark a 54% breakout to $0.498.

On-chain data indicates an increase in spot trading. SEI hit a record $2.23 billion in trading volume in Q2 2025, indicating growing market interest. This surge reflects the increased participation of retail and institutional investors.

Additionally, the total value locked (TVL) in Sei DeFi apps has surpassed $580 million. It suggests investors are buying dips before an expected rally. Moreover, tools like the Relative Strength Index (RSI) around 55 and MACD show stabilizing momentum.

Recent integrations with Ondo Finance and ETF filings by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) add fundamental appeal for SEI.

However, if SEI price falls below $0.28, it could test lower levels like $0.20 to $0.25, invalidating the buy signal. At press time, SEI was valued at $0.327 per coin, up 5.1% over the previous day.

Can SEI Hit $0.65 Soon?

Another top analyst, Michael van de Poppe, pointed out that SEI is showing strength by maintaining a key support level. According to the analyst, the SEI price traded above the 20-week moving average (MA).

For context, the 20-week MA is a widely used technical indicator that smooths out price data over approximately 5 months to identify trends. It is a long-term trend indicator, often used to confirm support or resistance.

Hence, the SEI price above the 20-week MA signals bullish momentum and buyer support. van de Poppe emphasized that SEI is set for more rallies. Therefore, he set a more ambitious target of $0.65 for SEI, representing a 100% gain from the current price.

Note that a breakout from the current consolidation could complete a bullish pattern like a cup-and-handle. The measured move often projects to 1.618-2.0 Fibonacci extensions, which align with the $0.65 target.

Chainlink Data Streams Now Live on Sei

In a parallel development, Chainlink has formed a strategic partnership with Sei. Leveraging the partnership, Chainlink has integrated its Data Streams into the Sei Network as the preferred low-latency oracle solution.

Chainlink Data Streams provides low-latency, high-frequency market data for the Sei DeFi ecosystem, without compromising on transparency and decentralization. This ensures secure, reliable, and verifiable on-chain data.

The integration aligns with growing institutional adoption of blockchain, amplified by the recent partnership between Chainlink and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

The partnership brings macroeconomic data on-chain, including Real GDP, PCE Price Index, and domestic purchasing metrics. It is the first to use government-validated data in DeFi. With Data Streams available on Sei, developers can now build macro-driven strategies, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and cross-chain applications.

This positions Sei as a leader in merging traditional finance and blockchain. Thus, it enables use cases like real-time macro trading and RWAs. Overall, the integration strengthens Sei’s fundamentals, supporting the “buy zone” and breakout predictions.
