Binance Coin (BNB) has demonstrated strong performance since the early part of Q2. Its rise coincided with a broader rally in altcoins. The altcoin has taken the lead in the sector. It recently surpassed Ripple (XRP) to become the third-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
The altcoin has consistently traded above $1,000 in recent weeks. Its price climbed to around $1,300. This rise reflects growing bullish momentum in the market.
Despite this strength in price, Binance was seemingly scaring off weak hands. However, the analysis pointed out that the dump did not pose a threat. Big players were not fading away, and the activity on the chain was still improving.
Binance Dumps Millions Worth of BNB Hard
Analysis using the on-chain tool Arkham revealed that the exchange was sending its tokens to a market maker. This implied the parent company of the BNB token was selling its holdings after the altcoin reached $1,300.
The activity could scare novice traders or weak hands into selling their tokens. The markets tend to liquidate weak hands. Still, the new highs meant that the asset could take a pause, as is the tendency.

While this poses a threat for a sell-off, it also sounds a warning of a potential peak. The removal of such capital from the market could spark a breakdown.
It could be the reason BNB had dipped below $1,300. However, there were more bullish signals that countered this bearish hint. But were they enough?
Why The Binance Coin Dump Poses Less Threat
Whale sentiment was strong, with one wallet initiating a 3x long position on 7,957 BNB. The trade was valued at $10.13 Million. He was holding over $1 Million in unrealized profit. This aggressive leverage indicated a strong belief in the long-term recovery trend of BNB, despite short-term fluctuations.
Moreover, BNB Chain was the leader in terms of network activity. BNB Chain led in terms of transaction fees, having almost double the volume of Hyperliquid.
The platform demonstrated sustained user activity and network interest. They were indicators of the health of its underlying ecosystem.

Additionally, inflows and liquidity remained strong. It dominated top chains by fees and top stablecoin inflows, which were about $400 Million and $50 Million, respectively. This was indicative of high capital turnover in the network.
This unstoppable flow of liquidity balanced any possible selling pressure. As a result, it enhanced the stability of the BNB price and trust in the company.
BNB Price Prediction: Will Momentum Hold?
Examining the BNB charts, a significant cup and handle formation emerged, leading to a surge to $1,300. The rounded bottom began in May 2022, with a low near $200, and continued up to March 2024.
The top of this cup was around $680. This was followed by a more minor, shallower consolidation from April 2024 to around August 2025. The bottom was now around $520, and the top of its rim was at about $720.

BNB price recently broke out of the handle above $720, and the resistance of the entire formation was robust. The prediction suggested that a pullback could occur after the recent peak, around the $1,387 level.
Thereafter, a major bullish extension could occur, reaching $1,500 and ultimately, $2,000. The breakout target aligned with the measured move range.
This pointed to the potential for substantial gains ahead. Catching the move on a pullback could be rewarding.
