Nvidia Stock (NASDAQ: NVDA) continues to be on investors’ radar, rising further, hitting new all-time highs above $180. Nvidia Stock Rallies On Getting a Pass from Trump Tariffs
The stock price of the world’s largest chipmaker, Nvidia, has continued to rally to fresh all-time highs above $180. Despite the threat of 100% Trump tariffs on semiconductors, the NVDA stock shows no signs of holding back. The company has latched on to Trump’s ‘Make in America’ policy. While speaking from his Oval Office earlier this week, US President Donald Trump said:

In the opening hours on Friday, August, the Nvidia stock is already up 1.6%, seeing huge trading volumes. Since the beginning of August, the stock price has already gained 5%, and is on its way to further upside to $200.
Goldman Sachs Gives Buy for Nvidia Stock Before Q2 Earnings
Goldman Sachs has reaffirmed its Buy rating and $200 price target on Nvidia stock. The financial firm cites confidence in the upcoming rollout of the company’s Blackwell architecture.
Analyst James Schneider outlined three key areas for investors to watch: the pace of Blackwell’s deployment in the second half of 2025, the launch timeline for China’s H20 chip, and potential gross margin tailwinds from previously reserved H20 inventory.
Moreover, the chipmaker continues to post a strong gross margin of 70.11%, indicating firm pricing power in the semiconductor sector. Nvidia will report its Q2 earnings in 20 days from now, on August 27. Goldman Sachs analysts anticipate a “clean beat-and-raise quarter.”
The firm noted that investor sentiment is elevated. As a result, the stock movement will depend on the guidance of the upside and further commentary on China-related business. As shown in the image below, the Nvidia stock will continue to ride the upside trendline until the Q2 earnings on August 27.

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) now holds the highest individual weighting in the S&P 500 index since records began in 1981. The milestone underscores Nvidia’s dominant market performance and its increasing influence over broader equity index movements.
Why Is NVDA Unstoppable?
NVIDIA has been extending its lead over peers like Microsoft and Apple, with its market cap reaching closer to $4.5 trillion. Despite its one-sided rally from April lows, market analysts believe NVDA is undervalued due to strong earnings growth. This makes the firm unstoppable on Wall Street.
Now, not only Goldman Sachs, but other market analysts have also given $ a $200-plus target for the Nvidia stock. Bank of America has reiterated its Buy rating on Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), maintaining a $220 price target.
Analysts pointed to key investor focus areas, including the Blackwell chip architecture ramp-up, prospects for margin expansion, and developments around the rollout of China’s H20 chips. According to FactSet estimates, Nvidia is expected to report $1 per share on revenue of $45.7 billion. The stock has gained nearly 34% year-to-date.
