ASTER token, the native cryptocurrency of decentralized exchange (DEX) Aster, has jumped more than 10% from the lows of $1.85 today. The ASTER price rally follows Binance’s official confirmation that it will list the DEX token soon.
This altcoin has once again regained the $2 price level. Now, analysts are eyeing greater targets ahead.
ASTER Price Rallies on Binance Listing News
In a major move, crypto exchange Binance announced its plans to list ASTER and open spot trading for ASTER/USDT, ASTER/USDC, and ASTER/TRY. Starting October 6, the exchange has resumed deposits for the ASTER token. The withdrawals for the same will resume the next day, on October 7.
ASTER is currently available on Binance Alpha Market. Once spot trading opens, this token will be delisted from Binance Alpha. Moreover, its trading volume will no longer count toward Alpha Point, as per the official announcement.
Binance Alpha serves as a pre-listing token selection pool. Once a project graduates to Binance Spot, it will no longer be showcased on Binance Alpha. The seed tag will also be applied to ASTER.
ASTER Token is attracting attention as robust DEX fundamentals and a major exchange listing fuel speculation. However, volatility remains high. Social sentiment is mixed, with some traders anticipating a “moon” rally, while others urge caution.
Popular crypto analyst Altcoin Ardi noted that ASTER price has broken out of its lower-high trendline. He added that reclaiming the critical ~$1.96 resistance level after Binance announced it would list the token today.

According to Ardi, a sustained close above ~$2.11 would invalidate the previous bearish structure. This will shift the momentum back to bullish and will open the gates for a rally to $2.20 and beyond.
ASTER Price Sees Volatility After DeFiLlama Delisting
The ASTER price has experienced strong volatility over the past week, oscillating within a wide range of $ 1.80 to $2.27. Moreover, the ASTER token rally was halted after the open-source platform DeFiLama removed Aster’s perpetuals trading data from its platform.
The platform identified suspicious volume patterns on Aster blockchain that closely mirrored Binance’s XRP perpetuals activity. This has further prompted concerns about data integrity and possible manipulation.

The issue surfaced after DefiLlama’s pseudonymous founder, 0xngmi, flagged that Aster’s XRP trading volumes were moving almost tick-for-tick with Binance’s figure.
“Until we can get that data to verify if there’s wash trading, Aster perp volumes will be delisted,” 0xngmi wrote on X. The data removal underscores growing scrutiny around the accuracy of reported volumes on emerging decentralized exchanges.
Aster Prepares for Phase 2 Airdrop
The announcement of Binance listing for the ASTER token comes just as the decentralized exchange (DEX) prepares its roadmap for the second airdrop phase. The Phase 2 airdrop for ASTER token will commence on October 10, following the completion of the Genesis Stage 2 program.
In a recent post on X, the team confirmed that Genesis Stage 2 will conclude on October 5, with reward claims opening on October 10. At the same time, the token distribution will begin on October 14.
Notably, these rewards will have no lock-up period. Thus, it allows participants to access and use their tokens immediately.
The next phase, Stage 3 – Aster Dawn, will run for five weeks, until November 9, and introduce a more advanced reward system. This includes spot trading incentives, multi-dimensional scoring mechanisms, and symbol-specific multipliers.
Additionally, team boosts will evolve in Stage 3, with progress carrying over instead of resetting weekly.
