- Dogecoin whales accumulated 460M DOGE during the recent price dip signaling strong buy interest from large holders.
- The 4-hour MACD shows a slight bullish crossover but weak momentum suggesting potential short-term price fluctuations.
- Dogecoin jumped 6.10% to $0.3336 as the market cap grows signaling strong momentum.
In a recent development, Dogecoin has seen increased buying activity from large investors following a market dip.
This accumulation has coincided with a price increase, indicating renewed interest in the asset. Additionally, technical signals suggest that upward momentum remains certain.
Whales Accumulate 460 Million DOGE Amid Price Decline
Notably, Dogecoin saw a surge in whale transactions with 460 million DOGE being bought during the recent price drop. This move points to active buying from high net-worth investors who tend to set the pace in the market.
The purchase indicates that the investors have a positive outlook for the asset in the future amidst market uncertainties.

More so, the accumulation happened when the Dogecoin price fell slightly, and this offered the chance for big investors to buy more. Historically, such accumulation phases paved the way for price increases since whales buy more and limit the supply in exchanges.
The extent to which this will affect Dogecoin price movement depends on retail traders taking the same move and continuing to keep the buying pressure up.
Before this, Ali Martinez had identified that the TD Sequential indicator flashed a buy signal on Dogecoin’s daily chart, suggesting a potential price rebound. DOGE recently declined 4.30%, reaching $0.32135, following an extended correction phase.
The TD Sequential indicator, known for signaling trend reversals, suggested that buyers could regain momentum. This has played out, explaining the recent accumulation.

MACD Signals Weak Bullish Momentum on the 4-Hour Chart
According to a technical indicator, Dogecoin price is showing bullish signals concerning its short-term price action. The MACD on the 4-hour chart shows a minor bullish crossover that suggests that a possible upward trend is possible.
Nevertheless, the distance between the MACD line and the signal line is still small which indicates low momentum.
Additionally, the MACD histogram has not expanded much, which supports the notion of price ranging rather than a strong trend reversal. If momentum picks up, Dogecoin price could break current resistance levels.
On the other hand, if buying pressure is reduced, the price might form a consolidation pattern before giving a clear trend direction.

Dogecoin Market Cap Rises as Price Gains 6%
Consequently, Dogecoin price rose by 6.10% to $0.3336 and the market capitalization stood at $49.31 Billion. The upward movement corresponds to the recent whale accumulation and other market patterns.
However, the trading volume decreased by 14.69% pointing to reduced short-term market participation even with the price hike.
More so, in a recent price analysis, Dogecoin had shown strong bullish momentum despite a correction phase.
The price was consolidating below the $0.40 resistance while whale transactions surged, with 588 transfers over $1 Million in 24 hours.
On-chain data revealed a 400 million DOGE transfer to Binance, raising market concerns. Technical indicators suggested that a breakout above $0.40 could drive Dogecoin price to new highs.
