AAVE price was exhibiting upward momentum like other cryptos after the Fed cut rates. Late in 2024, the price action of the altcoin broke above a sideways movement.
This had lasted since the beginning of 2022. AAVE crypto followed with a rally that reached the $400 level but was rejected upon hitting the mark. As a result, AAVE entered a bear phase that saw it retest the broken consolidation up to mid-year.
AAVE reversed with a sharp V-shaped pattern, indicating the strength of bulls just above the breakout zone. Consequently, the price neared the $400 zone again and was rejected.
However, the current move could surpass this sell wall. As per analysis by The Altcoin Chief, the AAVE price could breach levels above $500.
The analysts expressed their thoughts on X, stating, “$AAVE is looking solid imo; it had a long accumulation before a strong reaction on December 24. If we manage to get a similar move right now, we can target above $500.”
More telling, the RSI was hovering around the middle zone, indicating overbought levels were far. AAVE crypto had more room to expand to about $520.
Here, AAVE could hit an oversold level, signaling a potential end of the trend. From the prediction charts, these levels could be hit before the end of the year or early 2026.
In the meantime, if the current momentum is not sustained, the potential to hit the prediction fades. However, these targets appeared more viable with Q4 just around the corner.

The move aims to transform how capital flows across markets using decentralized finance. Also, the prospect of borrowing stablecoins against blue-chip tokens like BTC attracted this decision. Thus, the Galaxy Digital Inc. stock rose by 3.36% with the market cap at $12 Billion.
