Nvidia Stock Price Forecast Ahead of Big Tech Earnings

Nvidia stock price pulled back by 0.45% on Friday, erasing some of the gains made during the week as investors reacted to the new developments in China, a potentially large market for the company. It retreated to a low of $186, down from the weekly high of $190. This article provides a forecast for the stock ahead of the upcoming big tech earnings.

Nvidia Stock Price to React to Big Tech Earnings

NVDA stock price will react to the upcoming financial results of its biggest companies, which will provide more information about their businesses and whether their spending momentum is continuing.

Intel, a company in which Nvidia invested $5 billion, will be the first major technology company to report earnings this week. Its numbers will provide more color on demand for its products and the ongoing turnaround strategy.

The most important earnings, however, will come next week, when Microsoft, Meta Platforms, ASML, and Apple publish their numbers.

Palantir, Amazon, AMD, and Google will release their numbers a week after that. Nvidia, the biggest company in the world, will release its numbers on February 25.

Therefore, the upcoming earnings will be important as they will provide more information about whether these companies continued spending on data centers in the fourth quarter. Most importantly, these numbers will provide more information about whether these companies plan to continue their spending this year.

These companies are important because their five biggest clients account for nearly 50% of their revenue, something that has led to concentration risks. For example, the NVDA stock price would crash if a company like Microsoft, which accounts for about 20% of its revenue, announced it would slow its data center spending.

There are signs that Nvidia will report strong financial results following TSMC’s recent earnings, which showed its revenue and profitability surged. TSMC is the main Nvidia’s supplier.

China Woes Continue

Still, a main risk for the company is that China, a potentially large market, has become a major thorn in the flesh. While Donald Trump allowed the company to sell its H200 chips there, there are signs that Beijing has changed its mind.

A report by Reuters and the FT noted that China had started to block these chips from the country, a move that may lead to substantial losses in the near term.

A separate report by Reuters noted that Nvidia had received over 2 million orders of H200 chips currently valued at over $54 billion. NVIDIA had 700k of these chips in its inventories, pushing its Chinese suppliers to work round the clock to meet demand.

The other main challenge for Nvidia stock is the ongoing memory shortage, which Micron believes will last through 2026.

Analysts remain optimistic that Nvidia will report strong financial results. The average estimate is that its quarterly revenue will come in at $65 billion, up by 66% from the same period in 2024. These numbers will bring the annual revenue to $213 billion, up by 63% YoY. Its revenue will then reach $321 billion this year, up 50% YoY.

NVDA Stock Price Technical Analysis

The daily timeframe chart shows that the NVDA stock price has remained in a tight range in the past few months. It has underperformed the broader market, with the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 indices soaring to their all-time highs.

The stock has formed a symmetrical triangle pattern, with its two lines about to converge. It has also moved above the 50-day and 100-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) and is at the strong, pivot, reverse level of the Murrey Math Lines tool.

Therefore, the most likely Nvidia share price forecast is highly bullish, with the next key level to watch being the Major S&R Pivot Point of $200. A move above that price will signal further gains, potentially to the all-time high of $212 and beyond.
