Ethereum price is approaching a critical technical zone as institutional adoption of the network expands. ETH is holding above the $1,850 support area while traders watch resistance near $1,935 and $2,000.
Meanwhile, BlackRock is extending its blockchain strategy beyond the U.S. market. It’s expanding with tokenized share classes for its $311 billion Institutional Cash Series platform. The move adds another major institutional use case for Ethereum’s infrastructure.
Ethereum Price Holds Key Support Zone
Ethereum price trades near $1,865 after defending the $1,850 region. There, buyers have stepped in during recent sessions. The daily chart shows ETH consolidating below resistance after recovering from the June lows.
Ted Pillows identified $1,850 as the key level for Ethereum’s current structure. He noted that spot buying has increased around this area, supporting the recovery attempt.

The next major resistance sits between $1,930 and $1,965. A breakout above this zone could open the path toward $2,030. The larger resistance area near $2,200 follows it.
However, ETH must maintain support before attempting another expansion. A loss of the $1,830 zone could weaken the recovery and expose lower support around $1,700.
The broader chart shows Ethereum moving inside a rebuilding phase after its decline from previous highs. Buyers are attempting to create a higher low structure while sellers continue defending overhead resistance.
BlackRock Expands Ethereum Tokenization Push
Meanwhile, BlackRock is expanding its tokenization strategy. The launch of tokenized share classes for selected European money market funds under its $311 billion Institutional Cash Series platform.
The new products operate on Ethereum and use JPMorgan’s Kinexys Digital Assets infrastructure as the tokenization service provider. This move gives institutional investors access to regulated cash products through blockchain-based settlement.
The tokenized funds cover euro, sterling, and U.S. dollar strategies under the Irish UCITS framework. They include liquidity-focused products targeting Public Debt CNAV, LVNAV, and related strategies.
Each token represents a traditional fund share backed on a one-to-one basis. The official shareholder register is the legal document of ownership. Tokens are the means of transferring ownership near-instantly between approved institutional wallets.
The launch introduces programmable access to institutional cash products with potential 24-hour blockchain settlement. It also expands Ethereum’s role as infrastructure for regulated financial markets.
Additionally, JPMorgan’s Kinexys has processed more than $300 billion in intraday repurchase transactions since launch. The platform also supports JPMorgan’s own tokenized money market initiatives.
Tokenized Assets Support Ethereum’s Institutional Case
Furthermore, BlackRock’s European expansion follows recent U.S. tokenization efforts involving blockchain-based money market products. The asset manager has increasingly moved traditional financial products onto public blockchain networks.
The latest launch strengthens Ethereum’s position in institutional tokenization. The network already hosts a large share of tokenized real-world assets and continues attracting financial institutions exploring blockchain settlement.
Tokenized funds require reliable infrastructure, liquidity, and secure settlement systems. Ethereum’s established ecosystem has made it a leading choice for institutions entering blockchain-based markets.
The development also arrives as Ethereum price approaches a major technical decision point. The network’s increasing institutional use adds another factor for traders monitoring the current recovery.
However, adoption alone does not determine short-term price movements. ETH still needs to clear resistance levels before confirming a stronger trend reversal.
Ethereum Price Targets Breakout Above $1,935
Notably, Ethereum’s short-term chart shows a tightening triangle pattern. The formation places descending resistance near $1,870 while rising support approaches the $1,840 area.
A breakout above the upper boundary could push ETH crypto toward the $1,935 target. Elja’s chart highlighted this level as the first major objective following a successful breakout.

The weekly structure also shows Ethereum testing a year-long descending trendline. A move above $1,900 would provide the first confirmation that buyers are gaining control.
Further gains could place $2,000 and $2,030 into focus before the larger resistance zone near $2,400. That level previously acted as a strong supply area.
Nevertheless, Ethereum price must defend current support before extending higher. The $1,850 region remains the immediate line separating a continued recovery from another downside move.
