XRP Wallets Hit Record 8.24M as Ripple and Arf Bring RLUSD Settlement to XRPL

XRP Ledger wallets reached a record 8.24 million funded addresses, according to Santiment. XRP news showed that 4,772 new wallets in one day, marking the network’s fifth-largest daily increase since March. Separately, Ripple and Arf announced plans to provide RLUSD settlement liquidity to licensed cross-border payment companies. The partnership will use the XRP Ledger first, with lending functions planned later.

XRP Wallets Reach Record as Network Growth Accelerates

Santiment’s October 22 data showed that the XRP Ledger held 8.24 million non-empty wallets, setting a network record. The total continued rising during several months of XRP price fluctuations. The metric counts funded addresses, not investors; one person or institution can operate multiple wallets.

The analytics platform also recorded 4,772 newly created wallets during a single day. Santiment ranked that reading as the fifth-highest daily network growth figure since March.

XRP price chart showed steady growth in funded addresses as daily wallet creation varied. Daily network growth produced several isolated peaks during the period, while the total wallet count followed a more consistent upward path.

XRP Price Prediction During Wallet Expansion

XRP crypto chart showed that the token’s price had moved in both directions over the preceding months, without interrupting the broader increase in non-empty addresses. The figures measure account activity rather than price performance.

Santiment identified $1.40 as an initial price level to watch. A move toward $1.50 for XRP is possible if XRP remains above $1.40 and daily wallet creation stays near 4,000. The firm also identified $1.30 and a decline below roughly 3,000 new daily wallets as conditions that could weaken that outlook.

The company’s network growth measure captures new addresses, while its holder metric tracks addresses that already contain XRP. Neither measure establishes how many unique individuals joined the network.

Ripple and Arf Outline RLUSD Settlement Service

In an October 22 announcement, Arf said it had partnered with Ripple to supply settlement liquidity through RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin. The company’s aim is to serve licensed payment businesses that need working capital while they complete international transfers. Arf plans to provide the initial liquidity directly on the XRP Ledger.

Payment companies often fund transactions before receiving the corresponding settlement proceeds. Arf’s service will provide short-term capital that customers can repay after those transactions settle. According to the company, repayment generally occurs within one to five days, allowing Arf to deploy the same capital across successive payment flows.

Arf reported approximately $10 billion in annual settlement volume across its business. The announcement did not identify a launch date or specify an RLUSD liquidity amount for the partnership.

Arf also intends to move more settlement activity onto the XRP Ledger’s proposed native lending infrastructure once the network activates those features. The planned system includes Single Asset Vaults for pooling capital and a lending protocol for extending structured loans.

Under the proposed arrangement, Arf would manage capital deployment through on-chain functions while retaining underwriting and working-capital decisions off-chain.
